Bandaid love — hiding the pain,
Doesn’t fix the problem, it just happens again,
Say that you love me, and I’m wishing it’s true,
But bandaid love’s all I got with you.

We were yellin’ and fightin’ just last night,
Now we’re makin’ up and everything’s all right,
You tell me you’re sorry and you love me and then,
Next thing I know it starts over again!

When we got together everything was good,
Now I never know if you’re in a mood,
We never talk, I don’t know where you’ve been,
Next day you tell me you love me again.

You tell me I’m the only one for you,
And we’ll be together, no matter what we do,
Screamin’ and throwin’, to a push and a shove,
Next day’s fine, but it’s bandaid love.

You say you need me — I don’t understand,
The things that happened, we never planned.
You’re mean as hell, and then you’re ok,
Wonder if I’ll ever have — the guts to get away!
